wine glass challenge

Tips:
Use Bullseye or other 90 COE glass.
Score stem with tool, snap.
Start with cold wine glass. Heat only the broken end of the stem. Melt enough that it will bond with the Bullseye.
Add whatever stem modifications that you want. Build from one end to the other, don't go back and reheat what you are finished with because it will crack. Attach the other end of the glass to the new stem, being careful to not heat any glass except the junction.
Glass can sit at room temp to cool.
When ready to anneal, place cold glass on it's side in kiln. Bring to annealing temperature of 970. Let temp fall gradually as with Moretti.
